Governor Youngkin on Fox News this week discussed how he’s putting commonsense conservative values to work in governing.
This week, Governor Glenn Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin donated his second-quarter salary to Operation Light Shine, a nonprofit organization that created and promotes an approach to ending human trafficking known as INTERCEPT, or the “Inter-agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking Task Force.”
This week, Governor Youngkin signed bills aimed at helping Virginia’s men and women in uniform.
“Some time ago, I proudly made the promise that if elected, I would lead an administration that prioritizes making Virginia the best place for every member of our armed forces and their families to live, work, raise their families, and eventually retire,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.
“I think that there is a, there are a number of key topics here that I think are going to define America’s future. One is how we combat China aggression. And we have got to go combat it. Let’s just be clear. There are economic challenges that we have to rise to where we have particular sectors like semiconductors and like the supply chains in the EV’s and everything else that we have allowed China to dominate. I mean, the critical minerals world is one that we keep, that President Biden keeps driving us deeper and deeper into submission to Chinese dominance. We have got to get on this. But on top of that are our allies need to know that we’re going to stand strong,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.
